If you are looking and wanting to know about human behavior then that is what I am talking about. You say come to Hive and you will be rewarded for you posting and curating and they do and see that it is going to be worth very little for the work then they say it is not worth it.

I mean most social media sites you can post very little and it is all good. On Hive if you make a small post you get accused of farming votes. It seems there is a double standard here on Hive.

I do understand the generating and consuming content to be first and foremost, you will never get back in rewards what you put into it but I think it is safe to say a dollar for a post that took three hours to do is a little insulting to many small users. It turned them from this platform and leaves a bad taste in many of their mouths.

If you are from a foreign country then many times a couple of dollars on a post is great as it helps in many ways. I guess it is all in the eye of the beholder and how they feel about it. Like they say it takes money to make money and here it is no different I guess, or not what you know or can do but who you know.

Do not take this as I am mad or really upset, I guess I do not see or really understand what the point of spending hours curating and posting for little or no rewards when you see the big accounts and the bigger witness accounts just upvoting each other and among themselves. I wonder is it really about the community when the big witness accounts push for upvotes to their witnesses or is it just really about making them bigger or making them money.

I really think that the eco-system on Hive is really messed up and smaller users really never stood a chance unless they have the deep pockets to buy a million Hive to be one of the big boys on the platform or find favor in and from a big account. It might not mean much but that is my feelings and I believe many of the small accounts feel the same way. Just scared to say it. Just my two cents. opinions are like buttholes though, everyone has one and it always stinks to someone else.
