On recommendation by a friend, i recently discovered the Android Application Youtube Vanced.
That's Vanced. It's like Advanced but without the Ad. That's exactly what it is. Plus, it's free.
I was able to quickly install the application without having to root my phone or do anything more difficult than google the application and then follow the download instructions.
