I loved the point where you said that we should teach them to be respectful not only for others but for themselves. It is the teaching of balance.

For training discipline is one of the most important things. It looks harsh. However is for the greater good. Without discipline, there is chaos.

I agree that we need to be flexible too in our behaviors and in our thoughts. Sometimes, our initial decisions, thoughts or actions might not be working. We should have the courage to modify them for the betterment of our kids.
