Well, I am pretty young to say anything about how it might feel about sexuality during 60s. Nevertheless, I believe it is an innate desire that is not supposed to fade away with age.

The society and its norms make us think and act in certain ways which become a factor for dismissal of some natural desires. It's quite common to look down upon the need of sexuality among aged women.

I agree that sexuality is not merely a physical desire. It is the manifestation of genuine love. The absence doesn't afect the women's physiology but also emotional well-being
