Today is 2nd of December. The last month of the year has started its journey towards its end. The 2022 has gone as an unfortunate year for cryptocurrency. In the middle of the year the collapse of LUNA created an atmosphere of uncertainty among investors. The global market cap decreased and so the price of many coins. In the last trimester of the year the bankruptcy of FTX generated another wave of distrust. There was a time when global cryptocurrency market cap hit $3 trillion while it has decreased today to $890 Billion.

Some two years ago, I bought Ethreum of $176 worth. (I know it is not too much but it was all I had for investment). During the bear market the worth of my investment crossed $500. Today the worth of Eth in my wallet is $166. I have no option but to wait for the price to pump so that I may get some profit

In this year we have observed a continuous decrease in the price of Hive as well. The last few months have been very disappointing. For me, particularly, I converted HBD to Hive at a higher price but then the price dropped and kept on dropping. However, the investment on Hive is not like that of Ethreum where hodling would only benefit me if the price would increase. On Hive, the hodling is beneficial in multiple ways. Staking Hive gives me returns in 3% APR. Staking more Hive means more curation reward. Putting HBD in saving gives 20% APR. So while I am hodling in the wait of price to go up, my earning is increasing and my account is growing. In this way being on Hive is a blessing I am grateful for.
