Something that came up for me is the contact theory news article we summarized, specifically how that can be applied to the media landscape. I might be idealistic with this, but I feel like major change can happen if we just had mainstream media platforms start representing all views and role modeling public debate/discussion. Like if the gov were to bring back the Fairness Doctrine, which requires media organizations to present all sides of controversial issues.

I feel like we don't need the majority to change their ways in order to create significant change in the system. We just need a movement big enough to change the spaces where most people put their trust/authority in. Then the small percentage of people that think delusional things will be less noticable.
