The main area I'm not so confident with is emotional language

We humans are emotional creatures. The right type of emotional language can be powerful. Yet it has to be integrated wisely. For me, that means using emotions to evoke what we want and what we're for as a society, grounded in practical action steps and critical thinking. Most emotions are used to evoke anger and division without real intellectual ground, which I don't resonate with. I think this is where indy media outlets or journalists lose their credibility. Like Matt Taibi's censorship-industrial complex piece is great, yet it's loaded with dramatic and emotional wording that creates separation. I'd like to see us using emotions more wisely.
