Fantastic piece. Wow. And quite evocative. I'm left feeling sadness and grief about the poor state we're in as a country (and world). Yet I think this is an important thing to feel. Regardless of the disagreements people may have over politics and policies, we should all be coming together with the common ground of uniting and healing society, especially working class people. People suffered tremendously. It's my growing sense that we don't need to agree on why that specifically is... in order to collectively do something about it.
