You paint a haunting yet precise look into the future. In almost all the malls in San Francisco, cafes and coffee shops are replaced with these robotic espresso machines where you order from a machine and watch a machine make it for you.
Even if I could afford to live in a smart city, I'm not sure I'd want to. I would want to get away as far as possible from that dystopia. I'd also want to get away as far as possible from the "you'll own nothing and be happy" narrative. That is, if land isn't completely privatized at that point. I could see you and I living in the forest if it comes down to it :)
I'm curious how you feel about the 15 minute city idea.
