Wow. Just wow. The deaths of the activists. The powerful words and dialogue. The thought of Peter grinning at Greg in the distance actually made me tear up.
The system is a murderous machine, and it's coming for anyone who acts against it. The latest killings will inspire an equally harmful resistance movement, like a war but with no central organization behind it.
Woah. All of this is so real. Believable. Psychic eruption feels like the perfect way to describe this. And despite the breakdowns and chaos, all of these connections are forming between the main characters in ways that bring promise and opportunities that are yet to be discovered...
Your writing and thinking is helping me not feel such absolute gloom and doom when thinking about the system breaking down completely. I love what Greg says about how the storm will make our choices easier and more clear. What will it mean to honor those choices, for each of one of us and our own unique paths?
