Tom and possible ties to the CIA? Now that was unexpected!

I'm down for this great psychic reset. It's certainly interesting to think about. And I like how you're framing all of this. I see it as a psychic renewal or transformation too. Maybe some aspects are resetting back to initial states, yet we're also in the process of giving life to a whole new state. Clearing out collective and individual old energies and toxins to make space for what's next. It's like your story and each character has their own energy and movement, and the world is providing events that are inducing the disturbance needed to reflect this, like a crab struggling to find a new shell that can hold and contain its own growth. It reminds me of this quote: "for a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn't understand growth, it would look like complete destruction."

Living systems aren't controllable even though we've evolved towards more order and some cohesion. Perhaps we don't need to guide or drive this disturbance, but to join it and show up authentically. I see most of the characters doing this. Depth over speed, consciousness over action. Like what's the point and meaning of what we're even doing? Who or what are we serving in our actions and efforts, and what price are we willing to pay to stay true to that answer (I'm thinking about the Operation Monster Bash people). Instead of focusing on fixing weaknesses, what are the capacities and strengths that we're not using fully?
