Mmmm, yes, Well said. I saw the rise of rampant call-out culture during my time in K-12 public education and when I taught on a university level. It was deeply soul sucking. Part of my passion and role in all of this is rooted in the belief that we need restorative justice, harm reduction, trauma work, and nonviolence principles more than anything in how we show up together in workplace and community settings.
This is an amazing Ted Talk on healing call-out culture, and this is an interview with Kazu Haga about the power of nonviolence in modern life.
