Maybe you’ll get back to doing live portraits someday. :) because your art is deeply meaningful. I can actually feel the energy and emotions of the people you’ve drawn. What is sacred to me is something that is completely whole as it is without effort or trying. This is what I see in the people in your drawings and paintings. Your art taps into those irreplaceable qualities of the sacred that produce wonder and awe of the whole range of the human experience and the mystery of life itself. To me, the sacred is the humble grace and gratitude towards our own humanity and our ordinary and imperfect life. As Thich Nhat Hanh says “there is no enlightenment outside of daily life.”
