Time flies,
Just like a butterfly,
Our yesterday had gone,
So our today, time shall mourn.
We didn't start the race of life alone,
With other animals, dances to same tone,
Some had gone into extinction,
But nature spares us with distinction.
My eyes couldn't halt crying,
When a friend was helplessly dying,
A dream I thought it was,
Until death made it dramatically worse.
Yesterday, I challenged my Pen
When would you achieve your aims,
Of afflicting the comfortable,
And comforting the afflicted?
Sometime, I feel like quitting,
When the society
was contrary to befitting,
But, quickly I remember the rules,
I began to thrive,
with my poetic tools.
Times flies,
Just like a butterfly,
Yesterday had gone
to a place of no return,
Like it would be
as time will always run.
