Good morning Hive family
Today I want to talk about the habit of writing and how it changed my life.
Writing can be monotonous or it can also be our little escape from reality and that's what I want to mention. The "reality" shift. The act of writing helps you to drain, to manifest, to create to convey a feeling. Doing it digitally may be quite pleasing, but doing it with pen and paper for me is otherworldly.
That energy that circulates in our mind as a form of thought or emotion passes through our body to finally reach the paper, the episode where we make that energy shift releases and nourishes strongly. Previously (between 17 and 19 years old) this seemed super tedious and ridiculous to me, writing anything just because, but there came moments when I felt I was about to drown in my own world of destruction (I was in depression) and for some reason I resorted to writing, but as I was already saving myself in an ephemeral way I put it aside or ignored that act.
Cleaning my room one day I found a bag full of little notebooks and papers where I used to write down silly things when I was little (7 years old or more) and I discovered so many nice anecdotes and some not so nice where I admitted that the only salvation of my own mind was writing, from there I kept looking and I even found handmade diaries made by me. At that time of small handmade books I was in conflict because of the death of my mother and I never understood until I was older what it was like to lose someone so close and loved, I was always arguing, defensive, I was clumsy in so many things, I trembled all the time, I bit my nails and did not speak unless it was necessary. And what I could do being so young, innocent and misunderstood was to pick up a pencil and paper.

For a while and on the recommendation of many people I gave myself the task of writing every morning just because and without realizing it I filled entire pages of everything that tormented me inside, after a long period I took it as a habit and I am able to say that I feel lighter after writing. This has brought me closer to myself, to my self-love, to my feelings, to clarify doubts and unknowns about who I am and what I want to be as a person, today I consider myself a writer and not precisely because I keep a diary (although I do not like to call it that way hahahaha it sounds very much like an American movie, I find it funny), I am a writer because I write for life, for those who need a light, I transmit love and help if necessary but above all I write to give life to my reality even though it seems that I do the opposite. I faithfully invite you to write, every day, not only when you feel overwhelmed. Write for yourself and without realizing it you will be writing for life, for the beautiful life you have and desire.
