Been thinking about Your comment. Though My experience in economics was practical (I worked in banking for nearly 15 years at the headquarters of a major bank), I did not study economics in a school setting other than very superficially. Did They make clear that money, at its foundation, was merely the accounting for Human energy added into a community/system? And that even trade and barter are money in that sense? Or did They take as given that it's all a matter of making trade and barter easier, leaving out the foundational function?
