I am not sure where to place probabilities on this "demiurge/archon" thing. I don't need it to explain what I see.
And only under duress do I do anything You listed (and much of it, never - I don't need permission!). I can assure You, They need Our consent, else They would just run over Us roughshod.
The unEthical thing is that They do not get fully informed consent, and often take "implied consent" when We don't say We do not consent.
