Well.  That's horrific!  I will ever feel blessed that I had a family and the father I had.  Any "trauma" I endured was at the hands of the man who married My mother's sister (I will not call Him "uncle" - He's no relation of Mine!), who would convince My parents to swap Me for My younger cousin over night, so that I could spend time with My cousin My age, and He could spend time with My sister His age.

Then He would take Me to satanic rituals.

But I'm long over that! I cannot see that communal raising of children is in any way a good thing.
