What the "boomers" gaveth the feds is not given back. 90% of Us are and have been living in poverty, or at best, on the edge. Where You think "easy money" was given to Us, I am clueless. I paid into social "security" for 30+ years, becoming disabled and then denied disability, and now do not get 1/2 a studio apartment's rent back in SS, having been promised enough to live comfortably.
I am homeless at 67.
Inflation and phony "cost of living adjustments" have eaten it all away to this point - and it's just getting worse.
Just saying.
