I find the "ion wind" explanation of why lifters lift hysterical.  I mean, what is directing any ions in one specific direction???  There's nothing in the setup that would force ions downward only.  If ions are being released, they're going in all directions.

Are You familiar with the late Dr. Paul A, LaViolette's counter theory to the einsteinian bunk called subquantum kinetics (SQK)?  It's predicting all the "mysteries" of the einsteinian view.  Including the Biefeld-Brown effect.  In fact, when LaViolette first saw that prediction, He thought He had made an error. He combed and combed His work, trying to find what He did wrong.

And then...  He discovered TT Brown's work that the BB effect.  It fitted perfectly.
