Hi @xpilar
Trojans
The small spacecraft approached the asteroid's surface, when it was just under ten meters away, launched three anchor harpoons, which pierced the hard surface of iron and nickel and clung to it.
-Well we only have ten minutes to do this, before we are detected by the fleet's long-range sensors, -said Emery, who was piloting the small transport.
Three men in EVA suits rushed out of the lower lock of the ship and propelled themselves towards the surface of the meteor, loading two of them a metal container, when they were clinging to the meteor, using electro magnets, they opened the container, unveiling a small motor driven by an antimatter battery.
-Hurry up, there are eight minutes left, -they heard Emery say, through his communicators.
-You would help us more if you kept quiet, - replied Julien, clearly upset.
Emery ignored the comment -. Seven minutes, -he replied.
They fastened the small drive motor to the surface of the peculiar asteroid, the shape of which resembled that of a salami, just at one of its two ends; after doing so, they released their electromagnetic anchors and propelled themselves back to the ship's hatch.
-Emery is ready, we can go on, -said Julien, after the helmet was removed from the EVA suit.
-Well, I release the anchorages, -after saying this, the fastening wires came off the harpoons that held them in place at the asteroid, and the spacecraft began to take distance from the rock -. We are free, you can start counting whenever you want Peter.
One of the three men who had installed the propeller, executed a routine on his personal interface and after indicating some parameters such as impulse, terminal speed and course, started a ten-second count.
-Ready, in three..., two..., one..., start. -said Peter, as the propellant attached to the meteor began to propel the rock, on a course that would route it to a region in Cepheus' high orbit.
-Well, it's done, let's go to the next one, this gift will give them enough to entertain the fleet and hopefully, some of the ones we send will impact Polux, if not, at least buy time to our troops on the planet, to attack it from the surface - said Emery, while directing the ship to another of the Trojan asteroids of the Lagrange L5 point of Cepheus' orbit.
Thank you @xpilar, I hope the story was to your liking
