Teseo

La marea aun cubría las bases de la antigua sede del nodo central de red de terraformación, después del deshielo fue necesario mudar la computadora central a una localidad más elevada, hoy el antiguo edificio permanece treinta y seis horas completamente sumergido y otro número similar horas cubierto hasta un metro de su altura.

Corales, percebes y moluscos han hecho refugio en sus muros y calzadas; peces nadan entre sus pasillos y salones, testigos de los primeros siglos de la expansión de la humanidad por la galaxia, de cuando los primeros exploradores y aventureros de Perseo empezaron a colonizar los mundos más próximos y a transformarlos para que se adaptaran a sus requerimientos.

Teseo es hoy un mundo abandonado por los humanos, sin embargo, no es un mundo muerto, nada más lejos de la verdad, se ha convertido en un extraño santuario, donde la yerba y el pasto crecen en medio de amplias avenidas y pasillos de edificios, gigantescos bosques han poblado sus ciudades, ciervos, cabras, alces, jaguares, lobo y osos, reinan hoy, en donde el hombre una vez gobernó.

Hoy es un planeta agreste, lleno de formas de vida de todo tipo, donde sólo el hombre no está presente, nuevos mundos fueron colonizados, más próximos a Perseo y Heracles, con ciudades más esplendorosas, con tierras más ricas y cultivables, con recursos minerales más apetecibles.

Teseo es un santuario no porque que así se planeara, sino porque así lo determinó el destino y la dinámica de las poblaciones humanas. Porque la naturaleza y la vida, demostraron en él que, aun lejos de la Tierra, la humanidad no es necesaria para que ellas puedan seguir su curso.

Today it is a wild planet, full of life forms of all kinds, where only man is not present, new worlds were colonized, closer to Perseus and Heracles, with more splendorous cities, with richer and cultivable lands, with more appetizing mineral resources.

Theseus is a sanctuary not because it was so planned, but because it was determined by the fate and dynamics of human populations. Because nature and life demonstrated in him that, even far from the Earth, humanity is not necessary for them to follow their course.
