The matter of finding a spouse is a very crucial matter. Everyone is looking for the right person meant for them. Seeing that it is a lifetime commitment people are careful on going for the perfect match so that the marriage can be enjoyed. That is why some people often term their partners as their better half or the 'missing piece' as in a puzzle because if the wrong piece is being tried to be put in it won't match.
But the question is how should a man seek a wife. In this journey of life, there are things we can't do by ourselves, all we have to do is to rely on God's perfect timing when He'll deliver to us that which we seek. God knows the perfect time for us and what we really need more than we do ourselves. Waiting and trusting in Him is the best thing to do at all situations, even when it comes to seeking for a wife.
Proverbs 19:14 tells us that; “House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.”
The scripture says it all. We can't have a prudent wife unless God is the one who gives us. A prudent wife is not something that is acquired like an inheritance just like the passage above states, such can only come from God and not by our own doing. It's not just about seeking a wife but seeking a prudent one at that, and it can only be possible by the help of God.
