‎It is important for us to understand deeply what it means to labor in prayer
‎Today, more than ever, we all need spiritual labor, a sobering reminder, against the backdrop of our present predicament that unless the Lord helps us, all human efforts are eventually limited.
‎
‎This is not the time to rely solely on human wisdom or systems. Now is the time to seek the Lord. Let's consider Hannah in the Bible. Her deep sorrow and longing became a powerful channel for breakthrough because, she turned them into prayer. Your pain, your burdens, your tears can become weapons in the Spirit, when surrendered to God.
‎
‎Our travail in prayer be matched with fasting, just as our Lord Jesus did. After fasting 40 days and nights, Jesus was strengthened and filled with power from the Holy Spirit. And when His disciples failed to cast out a demon, Jesus told them plainly: "This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting", as recorded in Matthew 17:21.
‎
‎If we desire change, whether in our personal life, our families, or our nation, prayer is non-negotiable. Some want the blessings God but avoid the cost. The truth is, a Christian who neglects prayer is weakening their own spiritual defense.
‎
‎The Christian life is not a
‎playground; it is a battleground.
‎Nonetheless, here is God's promise:
‎

Isaiah 40:31 - "But they that wait upon the LORD shall shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint".
‎

‎Through Christ's death and resurrection, we already have the victory, but we must rise up, put on the full armor of God and engage the battle of the spirit. When we wait on the Lord through prayer, He renews our strength, refuels our faith and equips us for victory.
