Pundi X believes in harnessing Blockchain technology and finding ways to integrate Blockchain into people's everyday lives...
This endeavour has led them to bring Blockchain technology to the world of telecommunication, data transmission and storage. During the XBlockchain Summit at Inaya Putri Bali, they had a public demonstration and made the world's first Blockchain phone call on their latest development, the XPhone.
The XPhone runs independently without a need for a centralized mobile carrier, like traditional phones. The XPhone runs on the Function X Blockchain, which was developed to resolve the challenges faced by many Blockchains, challenges like scalability, safety and to achieve true decentralization.
In the Function X ecosystem every device will be a node with its own address and private key. Data transmission operates on a complex exchange of public and private key data as well as encryption, however its guaranteed that communication can proceed without interception and this gives users direct access to the data shared by others. Information sent over the Function X Blockchain will also be recorded on the chain - purely decentralized.
No dates for availability have been set, but there is proof of a working concept that ads new dimensions to Blockchain technology.
This is a race for the world's first Blockchain phone, so keep an eye out tomorrow for a review of the new Samsung Galaxy S10 with built in Cryptocurrency wallet and tutorials to teach people how to use cryptocurrencies. The new Electroneum phone will be reviewed the day after tomorrow, so stay tuned...
Who will hit the market first???
