Hello, Hive Community! Do you also have fur babies at home? How chaotic your house is whenever they start to play and run around? Well, maybe you can relate to my blog for today.
Let me first introduce my lovely dogs.
The oldest one is named Bunny, it's strange, right? Bunny is a rabbit but mine is a dog. Well, I think it's cute. He is an Aspin or Asong Pinoy with brown fur. This dog was given to my father by his good friend when he was just a few weeks old. He is already five years old. Some said He looked like a K9 or a Police Dog due to his body build and some characteristics that may be similar to a K9. He is the king among our Four dogs at home because of his strong personality. He is very aggressive that's why we put him in a cage. But what I like most about this dog is His playfulness and being smart. He is very active. He served as our guard at home. He is very alert/watchful and quickly notices when there is someone or something strange in our surroundings.
Introducing our second dog, Dagul, the very observant one. He is a male AsPin and is already four years of age. He has thin, white fur with brown spots scattered over his body. He was also given to us by a friend. This dog is very serious, he doesn't want to be disturbed whenever he's sleeping and eating. I can say that he is short-tempered, whenever his brother, our other dog, attempts to play with him he is always angry. He loves to be alone.
Our third dog was named Champ, also an AsPin. He is the younger brother of Dagul. He is three and a half years old. He has also brown fur. What's cute about this dog is his big ears. This one was in opposite personality of his brother. He is very playful and sweet. He loves to be with other dogs and loves to play outside. He always wants to run like there's no tomorrow.
Lastly is Tisoy, the most jolly one, he is the youngest among the four. His mother was a Japanese Spitz and his father was a Labrador. He is a gift from my aunt on my birthday last June 2021. He is now three years old. He has white fur which he got from Jap Spitz but there is also a few touches of yellow from his labrador father that can be seen in some parts of his body. Like Champ, he is also sweet and loves to play around. He is indeed a smart dog because he can easily learn some tricks. He always wanted attention and would always want to be recognized.
Some might say "they are just animals", but for me, they are more than just that. They are my family, my best friends. Yes, they can't speak and tell what they feel but their presence is more than enough. That's why they are called Man's Best Friend. They are there to listen without any judgment when I feel like nobody understands me.
Being a fur parent is never easy, it takes a lot of patience and responsibility not only to feed and shelter them but also to give them the time and affection they need. Sometimes it's tiring but seeing them happy and healthy is something fulfilling. No amount of money can equate to the joy they bring to our homes and our lives.
Salute to all fur moms and fur dads out there! We're all doing a great job!
