Saludos querid@s hivers fashionistas, llegó el momento del glamour más excéntrico que puede haber, y me encanta derrochar este tipo de glamour cuando se trata de llamar la atención para contribuir con una buena causa.

Greetings dear hivers fashionistas, it's time for the most eccentric glamour there can be, and I love to splurge on this kind of glamour when it comes to drawing attention to contribute to a good cause.

Lo que disfrutaran a continuación es mi participación en el segundo reto de Hive's Top Model Tema Glamour, ¿recuerdan mi participación en el reto anterior? allí les contaba que me estaba preparando para arreglarme para una gala muy especial.

Pues les cuento que 😉 fui invitada a participar en la MET Gala, la icónica gala benéfica que los más impresionantes creadores de la moda realizan cada año en el Museo Metropolitano de Arte de New York y no solo seré una invitada común y corriente como las demás celebridades que van a asistir (según mi historia de fantasía en la que me inspiré para crear mi propuesta), sino que también estoy invitada a presentarme en el escenario porque yo soy una estrella de rock, qué emoción tan grande, el año pasado se presentó Lenny Kravitz y este año me presentaré yo.

Well, this story continues right at this moment in which I tell you that 😉 I was invited to participate in the MET Gala, the iconic charity gala that the most impressive creators of fashion perform every year at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and not only will I be an ordinary guest like the other celebrities who are going to attend (according to my fantasy story in which I was inspired to create my proposal), but I am also invited to perform on stage because I am a rock star, what a thrill, last year Lenny Kravitz performed and this year I will be performing.

Espero que disfruten mi participación y no se pierdan los detalles desde el momento de mi entrada triunfal a la red carpet del MET, y luego mi aparición en el escenario, una estrella de rock en su momento de gala y en su momento glam rock, un maquillaje dos momentos.

Me arriesgué a participar con dos Outfits diferentes porque la propuesta de mi historia lo amerita.Fue una aventura arriesgada crear este concepto.

One Social Glam Makeup and two moments

Para efectos prácticos y para que pareciera que realmente los hechos ocurrieron en una línea de tiempo, escogimos un maquillaje para ser utilizado en la entrada a la gran Gala MET, por lo que debía ser Social Glam pero bastante extravagante como para ser emblemático para una presentación de una rockera en el escenario.

For practical purposes and to make it look like the events happened in one timeline, we chose a makeup look to be used at the entrance to the big MET Gala, so it had to be Social Glam but extravagant enough to be emblematic of a rocker's on-stage performance.

La inspiración de la MET Gala 2023 es un tributo a Karl Legerfeld así que mi maquilladora María de los Ángeles Camargo MakeUp By Mar, mi gran aliada en todo este concurso, decidió que este maquillaje tuviera colores oscuros y se viera muy extravante y elegante a la vez. Yo estoy muy feliz con lo que logró, su técnica me gusta mucho y el efecto entre los colores utilizados y el brillo me complació muchisimo y estoy muy agradecida con ella.

The inspiration for the MET Gala 2023 is a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld so my makeup artist Maria de los Angeles Camargo MakeUp By Mar, my great ally in this whole contest, decided that this makeup should have dark colors and look very extravagant and elegant at the same time. I am very happy with what she achieved, I really like her technique and the effect between the colors used and the shimmer was very pleasing to me and I am very grateful to her.

Entering the MET Red Carpet

Esa misma inspiración en Karl Lagerfeld me llevó a decidirme de entre tantas opciones que tenía disponibles, por este vestido de color azul noche y bordado dorado, buscando identificarlo un poco con un bustier de color oscuro que era una pieza que a este diseñador le gustaba crear, así mismo, además del bordado dorado, el corte del vestido, los pliegues y las ondas que tienen y esa especie de cinturón que lo adorna, son elementos que me parece maravilloso poder verlos todos juntos en un vestido tan pequeño y de una tela tan ligera.

That same inspiration in Karl Lagerfeld led me to decide among so many options that I had available, for this navy color dress with gold embroidery, looking to identify it a little with a dark color bustier that was a piece that this designer liked to create, likewise, in addition to the gold embroidery, the cut of the dress, the pleats and waves that have and that kind of belt that adorns it, are elements that I find wonderful to see them all together in a dress so small and of such a light fabric.

Por cierto, ya que hablamos de la ligereza de su tela, otro punto por el cual el vestido me pareció tan apropiado es porque la Princesa Diana en la MET Gala de 1996 llegó vestida de Jhon Galiano con un vestido de ese color y una tela de la misma caída.

By the way, since we are talking about the lightness of its fabric, another point why the dress seemed so appropriate to me is because just Princess Diana at the MET Gala in 1996 came dressed by John Galiano with a dress of that color and a fabric of the same fall.

Los zapatos que escogí para combinarlo son dorados y me pareció que su estilo le daría un poco de delicadeza al outfit, que siento, que es un outfit fuerte para impresionar, estos zapatos me los regaló una amiga que es mi asesora de imagen, es una excelente profesional en este ámbito, les he hablado de ella Ari Tabares.

The shoes I chose to combine are gold and I thought that their style would give a little delicacy to the outfit, which I feel is a strong outfit to impress, these shoes were given to me by a friend who is my image consultant because she is my friend, she practices with me and at the same time she is an excellent professional in this field, I have told you about her Ari Tabares.

Y es importante que mencione a Ari porque los zarcillos que estoy utilizando son su creación y son perfectos porque son nada más y nada menos que unos zarcillos de plumas azul oscuro con dorado, ¡¿qué más puedo pedir a la vida?!, un complemento muy especial, las plumas me hablan de glamour en exceso, estos zarcillos los compré a mi amiga hace casi dos años y los he usado poco y ahora se volvieron protagonistas.

And it is important that I mention Ari because the earrings I am using are her creation and they are perfect because they are nothing more and nothing less than dark blue feather earrings with gold, what more can I ask for in life, a very special accessory, feathers speak to me of glamor in excess, I bought these earrings from my friend almost two years ago and I have used them little and now they became protagonists.

Al igual que el collar, que encontré entre los accesorios que menos uso en mi vida, debe tener conmigo casi 10 años, lo realizó una artesana de San Pedro de Los Altos llamada Deborah que es amiga de mi mamá y tiene ese cuero tan rockero, la flor dorada que parece que la hubiera mandado a hacer para el vestido y esas piedras negras con azul oscuro que son una delicia. Pude haber buscado otro collar mas elegante, que por cierto era muy importante un collar en ese gran escote, pero este sencillo collar pareciera haber sido creado para el vestido, y nada mas lejos de eso.

Just like the necklace, which I found among the accessories I use the least in my life, it must be almost 10 years old, it was made by an artisan from San Pedro de Los Altos called Deborah who is a friend of my mom's and has that rocker leather, the golden flower that looks like she had it made for the dress and those black stones with dark blue that are a delight. I could have looked for another more elegant necklace, which by the way was very important a necklace in that great neckline, but this simple necklace seems to have been created for the dress, and nothing further from that.

Y ahora el dato más curioso sobre este vestido, no me van a creer. Este vestido se lo compró mi abuela a mi mamá en Tropicana (los más jóvenes no van a saber de qué estoy hablando, pero Tropicana era una marca de moda venezolana que hacía desfiles todas las semanas en televisión) y eso fue más o menos entre 1991 y 1992. ¿Díganme si no es fascinante?, hace unos 5 años yo me encontré este vestido en cosas guardadas de nuestra casa de la infancia y lo agarré para mí, pero me quedaba grande y el vestido se me metió entre ceja y ceja en la planificación de este reto y le llegó su momento.

And now the most curious fact about this dress, you won't believe me. My grandmother bought this dress for my mom at Tropicana (the younger ones won't know what I'm talking about, but it was a Venezuelan fashion brand that did fashion shows every week on TV) and that was more or less between 1991 and 1992. Tell me if it's not fascinating, about 5 years ago I found this dress in our childhood home and I grabbed it for myself, but it was too big for me and the dress got between my eyebrows in the planning of this challenge and it's time has come.

Ahora bien, una vez que desfilé por la alfombra roja y posé para todos los fotografos llegó el momento de mi espectáculo, pero como es costumbre y bien sabrán si les gusta el mundo de la moda y las galas, las estrellas nos presentamos en el escenario con otro atuendo, por supuesto igual de glamouroso.

Now, once I have paraded down the red carpet and posed for all the photographers and paparazzi it was time for my show, but as is customary and well you will know if you like the world of fashion and galas, the stars we presented ourselves on stage with another outfit, of course just as glamorous.

Time to go on stage

Mi presentación fue pisando fuerte con unos fabulosos zapatos negros de plataforma integrada y tacón stiletto, están hechos de una piel estilo gamuza, pero más brillante y tienen un corte muy interesante, siempre he usado estos zapatos con pantalones, nunca con falda y hasta ahora no me había parecido unos zapatos rockeros, pero los escogí porque son fuertes y le dan una presencia muy elegante a este outfit.

My presentation was stomping with some fabulous black shoes with an integrated platform and stiletto heel, they are made of a suede style leather, but shinier and have a very interesting cut, I have always used these shoes with pants, never with a skirt and so far I had not found them rock shoes, but I chose them because they are strong and give a very elegant presence to this outfit.

Estos zapatos los compré a mi amiga Carmen, eran de ella y por un problema anatómico no pudo utilizar más tacones, y ahora que nombro a Carmen, ella es mi amiga diseñadora que tiene su marca Yekuana que fue quien hizo el vestido de la pasarela del reto naturaleza y vida y también es la diseñadora que hizo el top negro con el que me presente en mi espectáculo de rock, pero debo decirles un secreto en relación con este top.

These shoes were sold to me by my friend Carmen, they were hers and because of an anatomical problem she could not use heels anymore, and now that I mention Carmen, she is my designer friend who has her brand [Yekuana](https: //www. instagram.com/yekuana_disenos/) who was the one who made the dress for the nature and life challenge runway and she is also the designer who made the black top that I showed up with in my rock show, but I must tell you a secret regarding this top.

Resulta que este top negro en realidad no es un top, lo que ven es un vestido tipo tubo, pero yo decidí usarlo (convirtiendo una cosa en otra) por dentro de "LA FALDA ANIMAL PRINT", esta falda por si sola es una gran protagonista, tiene un corte impecable, la tela es supergruesa de una textura que parece de traje de buzo, tiene una gran presencia y me resalta mucho la figura, por eso la escogí.

It turns out that this black top is not a top, what you see is a very beautiful and elegant tube dress, but I decided to use it (turning one thing into another) as a top inside "THE ANIMAL PRINT SKIRT", this skirt by itself is a great protagonist, it has an impeccable cut, the fabric is super thick with a texture that looks like a jumpsuit, it has a great presence and it highlights my figure a lot.

Está falda tiene un corte glamouroso con un print muy glam rock y esta la compré a Ari Tabares que hizo una venta de su ropa que ya no usaría mas, yo no estaba segura de quedarme con la falda pero ella me convenció, por cierto, cuando vendió su ropa le supliqué que yo fuera una de sus primeras clientas, y así fué pero me ganó mi hermana quien compró primero.

That's why I chose it because it has a glamorous cut with a very glam rock print and I bought it from Ari Tabares who made a sale of her clothes that she would not wear anymore, I was not sure to keep the skirt but she convinced me, by the way, when she sold her clothes I begged her to be one of her first customers, and so it was but my sister won me who bought first.

Mi hermana Anya (esposa de @antonyjimenezve) es muy importante es esta historia porque ella es la verdadera rockera de esta familia, la idea de usar la falda animal print fue de ella y la felicito y le agradezco por eso, además ella me prestó todos sus accesorios de rockera verdadera (a mi me gusta el rock pero ella me gana) collar, cintillo de puas, pulsera, esas mallas para los brazos, todos estos accesorios forman parte de los atuendos que ella utiliza para ir a los conciertos de su esposo que si es un verdadero rock star. Ah! y también hay dos pulseras de puas que me las prestó el tecladista de la banda de rock de mi hijo.

My sister Anya (@antonyjimenezve's wife) is very important in this story because she is the real rocker of this family, the idea of using the animal print skirt was hers and I congratulate her and thank her for that, She also lent me all her real rocker accessories (I like rock but she beats me) necklace, spiked headband, bracelet, those arm tights, all these accessories are part of the outfits she wears to go to the concerts of her husband who is a real rock star. Oh, and there are also two spiked bracelets that I borrowed from the keyboardist of my son's rock band.

Hay un punto aparte en estos accesorios, los zarcillos plateados con brillantes tipo zircones incrustados tienen forma de cruz y a la vez argollas, creo que son los accesorios mas rockeros que he tenido en mi vida, tienen ese brillo glam que hacia falta.

There is a separate point in these accessories, the silver earrings with brilliant encrusted zircons are shaped like a cross and at the same time rings, I think they are the most rocker accessories I've ever had in my life, they have that glam glitter that is needed.

Para estar lista para mi show me alboroté bastante el cabello para que tomara mas cuerpo (eso no funcionó), y me puse un cintillo de puas.

To be ready for my show I tousled my hair to get more body (that didn't work), And I put on a headband of spikes.

Y la guinda del pastel de mi atuendo fue la guitarra electrica Monster de @antonyjimenezve que cuidé como mi vida, esta guitarra es hermosa, tiene un diseño que no es fácil de encontrar por ahí, así que al ser tan excentrica me pareció ideal para que complementara la escena y adoré como me ayudó a sentirme mas cómoda a pesar de su gran peso para esta parte de la sesión de fotografías.

And the icing on the cake of my outfit was the Monstlifeer electric guitar from @antonyjimenezve that I took care of like my , this guitar is beautiful, it has a design that is not easy to find out there, so being so eccentric it seemed ideal to complement the scene and I loved how it helped me feel more comfortable despite its great weight for this part of the photo shoot.

Cómo pudieron leer me han apoyado varias personas en mi participación en Hive's Red Carpet y ahora se sumó para tomarme las fotografías el fotografo Roldan Rosero de Yakary Fotografía que es un fotógrafo al que admiro y respeto mucho y su esposa, mi amiga Yamila Bonilla quien fué su asistente en la sesión.

Joining the production team that has supported me in my participation in Hive's Red Carpet is the photographer Roldan Rosero from Yakary Photography who are a photographer that I admire and respect a lot and his wife, my friend Yamila Bonilla who was his assistant in the session.

Son grandes amigos con los que siempre había soñado trabajar y esta fue la primera oportunidad que concretamos y estoy muy contenta de haberlos invitado porque aportaron mucho profesionalismo y mucha magia y me ayudaron a hacer realidad este concepto que vengo desarrollando desde el primer reto de la temática glamour. Además espero que los veamos pronto compartiendo su arte en Hive porque aprovechamos de hacer un poco de onboarding sobre nuestra maravillosa cadena de bloques.

They are great friends with whom I had always dreamed of working and this was the first opportunity we had I am very happy to have invited them because they brought a lot of professionalism and a lot of magic and helped me to realize this concept that I have been developing since the first challenge of the glamour theme. I also hope we will see them soon sharing their art in Hive because we took the opportunity to do some onboarding on our wonderful blockchain.

Fuí muy feliz de participar en este reto diseñando todo este concepto para recrear a todos ustedes, visitantes de mi blog, para que se divirteran y pasaran un buen rato diferente y espero haber transmitido la pasión puesta en este trabajo.
