One shy hi, it's been a while since I posted around here and that's the shame...
[guilty as charged]

On behalf of apology, roses for the lady even tho she prefers more cactus's [thorn is thorn] ^^

This post is dedicated to the biggest cliché ever - roses. How many times did you get them as a sign of affection?
[asking the ladies, but gents don't be ashamed in case you got them too]

Personally not fan of getting flowers at all, probably that's why last time I've got a bouquet of cabbage seedlings, as dear darling is fan of everything edible.
[not sure for who that bouquet actually was me or him?]

Roses are edible too btw, well at least some of the species, but he isn't fan [once again], nor sweetly made of roses, nor delight... I do, especially the Turkish delight [droll].

...and these smelled exactly like that, perhaps I stayed around tiding them up a bit longer than usually cause of that..:p
Each morning new buds are unfolding, filling the gaps between leaves and the stubborn ones are making me play the guessing game.

In addition to the color puzzle, there is also the aphids enigma, so I feel like asking them with the shaggy hair with the morning voice, when do you plan to leave my roses to bloom in peace?

On the other hand, maybe they also like to enjoy Turkish delight?
Or they are just insatiable little b****s?
I sprayed them and they came back, so persistent!

While looking at these photos, you also witness the moment of mass killing of leaf aphids, these droplets aren't rain, they are product of silent liquid killer.
Life is cruel guys, you must leave this property and I offered that chance to you yesterday, you refused - bear the consequences.

The sun's rays turned the droplets into small luminous spots, thank you Mother Nature for a lovely bokeh moment.
Shortly it made me to forget rude, sticky intruders.

[the philosopher in me wonders, does one have to die for the other to survive?]

Staring at this scene.
I know it's sounds like I exaggerate, but I can be often amazed at "everyday" scenes that others often don't even notice, or they are too simple to catch the eye.

Almost white, dirty white, still selfishly squeezed.

This one has nothing to do with roses, nor aphids, but it's edible!
...and it's my favorite, cause of scent, cause it's blooms in May and cause velvety smell that fills the air after a downpour.

I think I have listed enough reasons why I love acacia.

Ever tasted its flowers?

monochromes@monochromes, this is my entry for the #monomad challenge, thank you all for your time and interest in what I do.
