I've been thinking a lot lately since, other from when it comes to food, I haven't been creative in a while.
We're still arranging the living space, and I still have a large amount of empty space, especially in the bedroom, which has a gorgeous old chandelier hanging from the nearly three-meter-high ceiling. The chandelier is lovely, but I actually hate central lights; if I could, I'd put large sconces on the walls as in the Middle Ages, but since I can't, I try to have a few of dimmed lights, particularly in the bedroom.
The hunt for ancient crockery and antique items continues; every day, I spend at least 30 minutes scrolling over the Internet to see if there is something for my soul, which is how I came across this adorable idea that everyone of you can create.
And what does this whole story have to do with #FungiFriday?
Well, the shape of a mushroom...If I don't already have candlesticks, I can make them.
You will need a candle, a jar and a bowl.
+2 sticks, I had only wooden ones, but warm recommendation is to find some wire or anything metal as wood and fire aren't the best pals.
This candle is from IKEA, the most common white, there were more but I used them mercilessly. Otherwise, I like the yellow beeswax ones the most that make you stick your nose in them and smell them until you pass out.
I thought this would be a project of a few minutes, but the candle could not fit in the jar, a few millimeters of excess and the diameters did not match.
Nothing a knife and a little scraping can't fix. I pressed it into the rim of the jar and marked how much it was, and then I removed it by sliding it over the wax with a knife.
One more check, are we there yet?
It seems not, more scraps to come.
The scraped wax will not be thrown away; instead, I have prepared a bag in which I will store it until it's collected enough to be melted again. Another explanation for the candles passion is that they are simple to make by recycling those dull little burnt-out scraps.
It finally fits! An additional job is to clean the crumbs, some of them were pressed into the surface of the table, but the wax is also good for polishing the wooden surfaces of the furniture, so even if some remain somewhere, it is not terrible.

Now it remains to divide the sticks equally so that they protrude outside the diameter of the jar, the fire requires oxygen to burn, so it would be a terribly bad idea to just cover the jar with a bowl.
In my case, it would look like this, the sticks are not fixed to the jar because I wouldn't be able to change the candles when it burns out, and it's not like I'll be walking around with it.
This one is planned to stand next to the bed on the night table.
