When you stop noticing people running through the streets semi naked and the sound of sandals clacking on concrete stops, you'll know it's there.
It smells of moisture, roasted peppers, brandy, and freshly baked bread.

Inhale-exhale, you can feel it in the air.

You will notice that sound of leaves crunching underfoot and twigs snapping, while wind messes around and makes you tuck yourself in more.

I already have my boots on.

Let's take a step back from what was just said.

One morning, woke up to this scene.
A giant pumpkin, no its more than just one! Oh my, chubby, fat, oblong, each of them eager to win.

How do you mean win?
Well, this is a competition, every year the fattest/heaviest and largest pumpkin is chosen, at the same time it is also a autumn announcer.

It's hard not to notice the horde of people wandering the streets for three days, between the stands, however, I must emphasize that because this is an international event, a staggering number of a tourists are visiting the city during "Crazy days" - google translated so.

Pumpkin is called CRAZY here/ ludaja.
Yeah, dont ask, me neither...

Guess the weight?

I occasionally thought I was in America because there are so many pumpkins everywhere, Thanksgiving is coming up, and vendors are selling everything pumpkin-related, including liqueurs and savory/sweet treats.

Fortunately, I have the honor of not missing anything, either visually or audibly, as I live directly above the square where everything took place (oh yes, there were various concerts), one made me actually go out and take a walk faaaaaar away until noise calmed down.

Influencers of the day.

I waited 15 minutes for the crowd around them to clear. Would you wait in line for a photo with 4 dressed bales of straw?

Anyway, the details are on point, even the lips are red, Dior I would say.:p
Even though it's annoying when a lot of people visit a small town for a short while, it seems like autumn has really settled in and the streets are now barely lively after that.

Do you want to discuss business? If so, pour us a drink.

A visual description of the traditional clothing worn by the locals and a depiction of how the great landowners used to dress.

A lot of effort goes into this event...

But all that will be compensated...

Well, I was eagerly awaiting it all because, in the first place, I had never seen anything like it. The quince sweet, Kitnikez, was one of the special treats I was expecting at the same time. I was eager to try this traditional treat because it has obviously become obsolete in comparison to the clothing that is still in vogue.

As for me, postpone it for the following year because I will be making my own quince cheese and autumn will be smelt down.

Did anyone guessed the pumpkin weight?
Last year winner weighted 527 kg.
