As you may know, my country is listed as one of the most corrupt countries in the world, and from what I read it even can be traced back to the time of Colonialism, when the local rulers were actually one of the bad guys during that time.
Now it was inherited by almost all the people in the government, politicians, bureaucrats, police, some army generals, and even into the grassroots. Our mentality has been broken into pieces, and to fix it, it will take years to come, and strict and strong policies.
the other thing is power misuse, which has been rampage in this country. The recent news is when a police officer stabbed and shot two repo guys who were trying to repossess the car the officer had driven because he had not paid any installment for the past two years. Lucky that he was only using an airsoft gun, so the repo guy only suffered injuries, and not losing his life.
But seriously, what is in his mind, why do you think that you can still drive a car that is literally not yours? if you can't afford one, then why do you really want to buy it, is is just because you want to look rich?
Now the case is still under investigation, and I think he will be fired from the police force.
things are getting a bit crazy lately.
