I've learnt not to think of the life I cannot live
Or to wish for the things life cannot give
My contentment goes beyond what I see
My happiness is based on things beyond me
One thing I have come to find
Is life can both be harsh and kind
I was prepared to chase wealth for infinity
Until I realised that life itself was vanity
So while others are in an eternal rat race
I'll live contented until I see my saviour's face
