I have recently purchased a lvl 1 Scorch Fiend and it has immediately been put to work. I was initially put off by the cost, but it has proven itself time and again. He mainly just takes a hit for another monster on my team, but it makes a big difference. Also, Creeping Ooze at 1 cost has been finding it's way into a majority of my lists and has won me many games. I might have to pick up the fiends for the other Splinters because a 0 cost monster has proven so useful.
