I attempted a jump across a riverbed with my vehicle and made it safely. After reconnecting to the Chiral Network, I rushed back toward the shelter upon learning Fragile and Lou were under attack. I avoided hostile droids and witnessed a mysterious samurai defeat enemies before vanishing into thin air.
I thought I would try to jump across to the other side of the riverbed. The jump itself failed, but my vehicle still managed to clear the gap safely. Once across, I reconnected to the Chiral Network, which was a huge relief.
It meant I could finally construct another generator in the area whenever I needed to recharge my vehicle's battery.
After gaining some speed, it felt great to be back out in the open air. I tested out the drifting ability of my vehicle while collecting chiral crystals along the way, which was actually quite fun.
Eventually, I arrived near Ciudad del Norte. I did not have any actual business to conduct there, so I decided not to stop and simply passed right by the area.
I needed to build another generator to ensure my vehicle was fully charged before pushing forward, as the remaining charge was not enough for the rest of the journey ahead.
Once the battery was fully replenished, I searched for a shortcut to reach the other side of the riverbed without getting stuck in the terrain. While scanning the surrounding area, I heard a voice asking if anyone could hear them, but I could not see anyone nearby. It felt quite strange to hear actual human voices out in the open like that.
As I continued on my way, an urgent notification popped up, warning me that my shelter was under attack. This meant both Fragile and Lou were in immediate danger, so I knew I had to hurry back as fast as possible.
However, the path back to the shelter was far from easy. A group of hostile droids appeared along the route, attempting to block my progress.
I was not sure whether I should engage them in combat or try to reach the shelter quietly, so I chose the quieter path to avoid unnecessary delay, especially with Fragile and Lou in danger.
Despite my efforts to remain unseen, hostile forces were everywhere. I tried my best to steer clear of them because I really did not want to get dragged into a prolonged fight. These were not ordinary hostiles either. They even released a pack of mechanical droid dogs to hunt me down.
At that moment, someone else appeared and attempted to defend me, but the droids quickly cut him off while Sam watched the scene unfold.
Suddenly, that person stood up and eliminated all the hostile droids with incredible speed, fighting just like a true samurai. He did not look like a droid at all; he seemed to be a real living person.
Sam looked somewhat intimidated by his presence, as the stranger looked completely prepared for another battle. However, before anything else could happen, he vanished into thin air, bringing a sudden end to the immediate threat.
