How Did The Week Go ?
This was a week where I must admit I mostly did Hive things on auto-pilot. Real life kept me busy in a hugely stressful way (thanks Amazon.... f**k you and the horse you rode in on).
But I did manage to keep up with curation and posting everyday - although in two cases I hit the button within two or three minutes of midnight, so it's 50/50 whether I've still got my posting streak on Hivebuzz.
I'm starting to focus on generating liquid HIVE without needing to buy any, in order to make sure I've got enough for my SBI commitments and for each HPUD. Thinking of which, I did power 20 HIVE up on Tuesday - @alonicus/april-fools-day-hpud is my HPUD post.
The main way I'm generating liquid HIVE is through a combination of HP and Tribe Token delegations that provide daily or weekly drips. I don't want to use the service (I forget the name - sorry) which delivers HP rewards as HIVE, because it charges a healthy fee and I'm still far behind on my HP goal.
I'm careful HP delegation because of the impact it has on my curation, but I delegate to

I'd love to find more tribe tokens that give liquid HIVE drips, but it's shocking how poor the information on tribe token delegations is. Most links in Beeswap or Tribaldex just go to a front end which is full of fascinating posts, but rarely has any info on tokenomics, where to send the delegation and what format the rewards are etc.
Below is a table of what I'm earning so far. All numbers are approximate; they change as the delegation grows through inflation, and the rewards are often based on a % of curation earnings by the account delegated to.

Overall I'm gaining about 0.9 HIVE a week. It's not a huge amount, but it's a start. My immediate goal is a very modest 3 HIVE a week, because that'll cover my SBI commitments.
I'm also sitting on a couple of days' worth of HBD author rewards, contemplating whether I should turn them into HIVE. I'm really split on this one because I also want to build up my monthly HBD interest ! It came in at 31.813 a couple of days ago, and I'd love to push it to 35 and then 40 HBD as quickly as I can.

I'm normally very disorganised about saving, and the support of the wonderful people in #SaturdaySavers has been invaluable in keeping me focused. I can honestly say that without it, my HP would probably be half what it is now.
So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !
