Looking at all those billionaires.... well, inflation would account for some of them. Since 1987, official dollar inflation is quoted as around 194%, but real inflation is very different and much higher than the figures governments doctor to keep the masses placated. Global population has also grown from about 5 Billion in 1987 to 8.3 Billion today. I'm not going to crunch those numbers (hey, I'm on holiday this week !) but it should be possible to work out the percentage of each person's productivity being drained off into the billionaires pockets and how it's changed. All I know is, rope is cheap and gravity is free, and there's a lot more of us than them......
