The rest of the world is probably worried. Both Russia and Ukraine (soon to be joined by Iran) will have a deep pool of disciplined, basically fit but disabled veterans with a strong competitive drive. Same as the UK did at the time of the Afghan war... for a few years, British paralympians won masses of gold medals. But I'd still rather see less disabled veterans from all sides.
