No. I have an aversion to capital punishment anyway. There are certainly those who richly deserve it, but I have seen how governments abuse the legal process to target both those they object to politically, and to get easy convictions for high profile crimes (e.g. the Guildford Four).

But the way things are going, with the US being a speedrun of the Roman Empire, it's only a matter of time before we see "criminals" forced to fight each other to the death for public entertainment.
