Good question !

I think HIVE will rise and fall broadly in line with the crypto market overall. Although I can't predict the future, what I expect to see is sideways movement in prices for a few more months and then a gradual increase as we approach the Bitcoin halving. It would be higher, but I expect legacy finance and regulators to try to force prices down. However, HIVE seems to be consistently outperforming other altcoins, so I can see it climbing better than most other cryptos.

Another factor is to reverse the question and look at what is likely to happen to the value of the US dollar.  International trade is rapidly switching to the Yuan or local currencies and away from the US Dollar, and if the BRICS settlement mechanism launches asplanne3,d that will accelerate the trend. Many countries are also selling off their dollar reserves as fast as they can, because they have seen how the US has used unilateral sanctions to freeze and expropriate reserves held by Russia, Venezuela etc, meaning the the dollar is no longer a safe haven for forex reserves.

The dollar's value is slowly falling, and as the US economy finds itself more and more in debt (and as the Fed prints more and more fiat money out of thin air) that's a trend which is likely to increase, which will make HIVE appear increasingly valuable by comparison. I feel that at some point, it will be a better metric to use the price of BTC as the baseline for other cryptos, not dollars at all.
