Day 4 / 369 The Wheel Turns All Ways

1 Year Ago - 0$ made, 0 events held, 0 products designed, 0 twerkflows made. I was focused on reaching out to a founder from New York of a company called Elegantees for advice.

Today - $6,822 made, 17 events held, 6 products designed, 43 twerkflows made. Cancelling local event due to weather. Saying YES to a new pop-up store opportunity. Struggling to find a supplier for Premier Yarns in Canada.

I'm beginning to see success and failure as part of a circle, rather than as two sides of the same coin. More like a steering wheel, where as one side is pulled down, the other side has to rise to follow it.

Coming off the launch of another fun event, hosted by a new partner I have to step right into cancelling due to weather (for a second time), another event that was scheduled for today. What do I think cancelling this event means:

• It puts my customers out of their planned activity
• Hurts my revenue stream
• Frees me up to do other work-related things
• Hurts cross-promotion opportunities for other events
• Eliminates another opportunity for me to get better at teaching in front of an audience
• Takes away the danger of travelling in an ice storm

Nothing is all bad or all good.
