Hey there, people. Today I got to finish up another entry for the Splinterlands Art Contest just in time!!
This week, I didn't get to post an OC piece to my time constraints (work-related mostly), but here's this week's art.
The Sketch
The Coloring
I think I've gotten so much better at the base coloring - mostly due to practice - and have been minding and avoiding the sketch lines better than before. It's practice y'all. Also, I've been having an easier time deciding where to highlight and where to shadow.
The Outline
I also tried to give her a different kind of outline for a change and I think this one sorta made her look like a character right outta Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (I love that show) and gives her this sorta chilly mysterious vibe in conjunction with her alien-like eyes.
And Lastly...
I decided to add a white glow to the back so her figure(?) stands out more...
