With that being said, let's have a closer look at the process of my entry below...
One of the more interesting parts of drawing this piece for me was the fact that there are two differently-colored light sources on the subject. Not only did I have to adjust the shades and glows to properly portray the parts illuminated by the light, but I also had to figure out what colors to use to address either the red or blue light on her skin - which was a first and interesting experience for me.
I changed the background into a mesh-like structure to portray the sense of isolation and being trapped inside a cage with this lunatic.
In the end, I gave the painting some blood splatter effect as a finishing touch as if she's just cut open her next victim >:D
