Today I invite you through Olten city, located in the canton of Solothurn. Olten have many Bridge one of than is the old Aare Bridge, which already in Roman times was a fort on the site of the old bridge. The old bridge was first mentioned in 1295, has been burnt down several times over the centuries, damaged by floods or frost or even destroyed, but it has been restored over and over again. The bridge is around 120 meters long and 9 meters high above the Aare river. It is one of the oldest and best-preserved wooden bridges in Switzerland.
Certainly from here in Olten you can also make some nice trips, or even enjoy a visit in one of the museums. A walk along of the old town of Olten, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Siteyou don't have to miss it when you are in the neighborhood.
