Aarburg have a triangle between the Aare river and the rocks, with a natural boundary on two sides.

Now used as a youth home, 1893 the fortress was converted into a home for delinquent youths, using pedagogical and therapeutic methods, the young people here are helped to integrate into society in a self-responsible way with a professional qualification.
