A cozy shopping day should have ben, but a nice surprise. In the shopping center has also been an interesting astronomy exhibition abou Apollo 11 mission. Fits perfectly for today’s Market Friday hosted by dswingle@dswingle.

The Lunar Roving Vehicle - LRV was an electric vehicle for exploration of the moon's surface under the special conditions of space. In all between 1969-1972 we have six moon landings, with the last three, Apollo 15.16 and 17, in each case was a LRV on board. The maximum drive time was limited to 3 hours per day, at three days on the moon.

Constellations are groups of stars formed on the sky, which have a special shape and often have a cultural meaning. There are a combined totally of 88 officially recognized constellations by the International Astronomical Union. Constellations have also had practical applications such as being used for orientation and navigation in navigation. They are still used in astronomy.
