I hope you are all well and have a good time. Today I would like to share with you some nice impressions from Copenhagen, which we visited before the lockdowns. Copenhagen the capital Denmark is considered a jewel and has often been called "the most livable city in the world".
Also called the fairy tale capital of Europe, with a joyful and easygoing atmosphere. Trendy, traditional, cozy, everything is allowed that makes fun.
A fascinating blue circle, through the harbor and canals around downtown Copenhagen.
Copenhagen is also an inviting place for bicycling and is officially the world's first cycling city.
I like the fantastic architecture with the excellent wide bike paths.
In center the City Hall a historic monumental building with its 105.6 meters to the top of the tower is one of the tallest buildings in Copenhagen.
The Nordic Seaplanes is Denmark's first seaplane airline and the quickest way to get from Copenhagen to Aarhus.
The world famous statue, the little Mermaid of Copenhagen was placed here 1913 in honor of the poet Hans Christian Andersen and is today one of the smallest landmarks in the world.
The free city Christiania situated in centre is the first officially autonomous municipality that exists within another city.
In September 1971, a group of hippies occupied a 34-hectare former military site in Christianshavn, since then, a community has formed here that rules itself.
Have a great Day!
