Today I invite you through the Alcazaba, in Malaga, Spain, a historic fortress and palace complex with amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea, you can see from far away. It is the most representative monument of the city dates back to the 11th century, during the years associated with many restorations. During the siege by troops of Napoleon Bonaparte in the early 19th century, the fortress was partially destroyed and abandoned.
First on the fortress' foot the Roman theater entry.

The Alcazaba was freely to enter for many years, now is charged. The tour along the fortress walls offers numerous beautiful panoramic views over Malaga and the city's harbor. His name Alcazaba is derived from the arabic word al-qasbah which means citadel.

The renovated walls and some of the bastions of the medieval fortifications are still preserved today, built in the ancient Roman tradition.

Here you can see the same building from a bus station from where you can take a bus to all directions.

However, the main tourist highlights are several reconstructed Moorish-style buildings as well as courtyards and gardens with many wonderful colorfuly flowers.
