Prosperous and blessed day for all my friends from #hive, resuming my participation in the #festivaldemusicafolclorica, I bring you this oriental Joropo, emblematic of our city.

This was really a hard video to share, I think I managed to publish it after 6 or 7 attempts hahaha but at last I can share this emblematic and energetic theme of our Venezuelan folklore. I comment that the rehearsal and recording moments were of laughter and enjoyment .. I hope you liked it.

Oye hermano soy de la tierra oriental
canto polo, estribillo y galerón
orgulloso porque soy de Cumaná
de esta bella y muy bonita región
complacido me siento del Manzanares
de Caigüire, Santa Inés y de El Peñón
San Francisco, Alta Gracia y de San Luis
que adornan a mi terruño con su claro y bello sol.

Caramba soy cumanés y siempre lo ando diciendo
lo pregono en todas partes pa'que vayan conociendo
de este bonito rincón cuna del Gran Mariscal
del poeta Andrés Eloy que a mi patria vio nombrar.

Cuando voy en mi barquito marinero
con aliento y ganas de navegar
siempre toco el alar de mi sombrero
y con brío me lanzo hacia la mar
con el ancla, el anzuelo y la atarraya
con el remo, el canalete y el arpón
siempre tengo mis corotos preparados
y así me encuentro alistado para empezar mi labor.
