Rumoh Geudong was built in 1818 by Ampon King Lamkuta, son of a hulubalang who lives in Rumoh Raya about 200 meters from Rumoh Geudong. During the Dutch colonial period, the house was often used as a place of war strategy strategist initiated by King Lamkuta with his fellow struggle
However, King Lamkuta was finally shot and shaheed during a stalled aski hosted by marsose troops in Pulo Syahi, Keumala thanks to the information obtained from informants (cuak, in the language of Aceh). In subsequent times, Rumoh Geudong was occupied successively by Teuku Keujren Rahman, Teuku Keujren Husein, Teuku Keujren Gade.
