I've never met a person whose life has travelled a single path in life; Life-events occur leading us this way and that and we need to make decisions as to which path to follow. Those choices can often have far-reaching implications and in turn lead to us needing to make yet more choices and decisions.
Finding oneself on a crossroads, a forked path, isn't a negative thing though; Sure, the choices may be difficult, the path shadowed in mystery and uncertainty. But a choice made, a journey undertaken, will certainly lead somewhere and that first step, even if an uncertain one, will lead us forward.
